2. | Overseas means a person who is residing outside of Australia. |
3. | Student means full-time post-graduate student of a higher education institution [in Australia or Overseas]. Proof of enrolment must be faxed to +61 3 5964 9586. |

5. | Non AARE Members attending for two or more single days are charged for Day 1 at non AARE member rate and Day 2 and/or Day 3 at AARE Member rate. That is, such people pay only one AARE membership fee. |
6. | GST is included in all conference rates as the conference is "conducted" in Australia. Overseas membership rates for those joining AARE at the conference, but continuing to live outside of Australia, do not contain GST on the membership component of the applicable registration rate. |
7. | GST TAX INVOICES will be issued for all payments. The AARE Conference 2009 ABN is AARE's normal ABN, 27 453 170 042, as all payments received go directly into AARE's account. |

10. | Full paper refereeing administrative fees must be paid prior to refereeing. |
11. | No half day registrations are available. One day is the minimum for people who are not presenters due to catering arrangements and other cost factors. Admission is by name tags generated from the accounting system. Please settle accounts prior to attendance at the conference. Any substitutions or proxy for attendance must be notified so that a suitable name tag can be generated prior to the conference. AARE policy does not permit proxy presentations but substitute attendance can be arranged if prior notice is given. |
12. | The email address of AARE is aare@aare.edu.au for all enquiries. |
13. |
Refunds Policy: Cancellations will be accepted up to 30th September 2009. Up to this date fees paid will be refunded minus an administrative fee of $198.00 [incl. GST]. No refunds will be allowed after 30th September 2009. |
14. | Presenters must register and pay for a full conference registration prior to being placed on the Program - that is by 1st Ocrober 2009. This allows the committee arranging the Program to use all FOUR DAYS for placing of presentations. It also encourages full attendance to allow full participation in research discussions rather that "hit and run" "show and tell" presentations in which people only come for the day [or hour] of their presentation then leave the conference immediately after giving their paper. |
15. | Withdrawals will not be accepted by email or phone after 1st October 2009. |
16. | LATE WITHDRAWALS after 1st October 2009 will be treated as NO SHOWS unless the withdrawal is for medical reasons. |
